Kincaid No. 2 Suit Chocolate Twill
This worsted twill comes from what's arguably Italy's best textile mill and makes a wonderful season-opener fabric. Ultra-fine yarns give it a soft hand and an elegant drape, with enough durability to carry you through the season (and beyond — this one can be worn year round.) It’s made up in our quintessential starter suit: the original Kincaid cut we’ve been running since 2012 (natural shoulder, 2-button darted front, slim but not skinny), here in our No. 2 make that’s sportier, easier, and yes, more affordable than our Nos. 3–5. The jacket is fully canvassed with a special lightweight, single-layer canvas designed to mold and meld to your body, along with spalla camicia shirtsleeve construction at the shoulder for a distinctive, hand-done feel. The trousers are cut in our original plain-front shape to complement the jacket, with a trim-but-not-tight leg that looks great with a cuff. And just like all of our tailored clothing, it's designed to take you from Mississippi to Manhattan to Milan without looking or feeling out of place.

GOOD TO KNOW
Why we love it
- all natural fibers
- made in portugal
- wardrobe chameleon
- wear all year round
"Pretty chic. The shade has just the right amount of grey in it. Between the color and the drape of the wool, there’s some real lift and life and movement to it."

What do all the numbers mean?
We organize our tailored clothing into different levels of makes, similar to the way some German automakers have different series of cars.
Our sportiest, most casual make — unconstructed, with no canvas at all. The knockaround.
Our “easy” make, refined yet relaxed, with a lightweight, single-layer canvas. The basic.
Our “house” make and the one that started it all, with a structured, 3-layer canvas. The workhorse.
Our sarto make, with more handwork and a more natural, lightweight-yet-dense 2-layer canvas. The upgrade.
True sarto, with the same canvas as the No. 4, but completely handmade. The top of the line.
